At Mowers ‘N’ More, we want you to be confident in every purchase you make. All of our machinery and tools — including both new and used equipment — are inspected, tested, and supplied in good working condition. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.
1. Eligibility for Returns
You may request a return if:
• The item arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described
• You change your mind within 30 days of receiving the item.
• A manufacturing fault occurs within the applicable warranty period (varies by brand)
To be eligible for a return, the item must be:
• In the same condition you received it, aside from any fault reported
• Complete with all original parts, accessories, manuals, and packaging where possible
• Not showing signs of misuse, neglect, or unauthorised repair
2. Items Excluded from Change-of-Mind Returns
Because of the specialist nature of our equipment, the following items cannot be returned unless faulty:
• Items that have been used outdoors after delivery
• Fuel-powered machinery that has been filled with petrol or oil
• Consumable parts (e.g., trimmer line, chains, oils, filters) that have been opened
These conditions do not affect your right to return faulty goods.
3. Faulty or Damaged Goods
If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault, please contact us within:
• 48 hours of delivery for transit damage
• 30 days for faults covered under your short-term right to reject
• The full length of the manufacturer’s warranty period for defects (e.g. STIHL, Echo, Oleo-Mac, etc.)
We will arrange:
• Troubleshooting support
• A repair
• A replacement
• Or a refund, depending on the circumstances and your consumer rights
We may request photos or videos to speed up assessment before collection.
4. Used Machinery
All used machinery sold on our website is supplied in good working condition and inspected prior to sale. Our used machines come with:
• A 30-day working guarantee against defects not visible during inspection
• No guarantee against wear-and-tear items (belts, blades, plugs, filters, etc.)
If a used machine arrives with an issue that was not previously identified, please contact us so we can arrange a repair, replacement, or refund where appropriate.
5. How to Start a Return

Please include:
• Your name and contact details
• Your order number
• A description of the issue
• Photos or a short video may be requested (if applicable)
Once approved, we will confirm the next steps and collection or return instructions.
6. Return Delivery Costs
• Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items: We will cover the return shipping cost.
• Change-of-mind returns: You will be responsible for return delivery costs.
• Items must be returned using a trackable method. For large machinery, we can help arrange collection at a quoted cost.
7. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect the item, we will issue your refund within 5 working days using your original payment method.
Deductions may apply for:
• Missing accessories
• Damage caused by misuse
• Excessive wear on change-of-mind returns
We will always inform you before issuing any adjusted refund.
8. Repairs & Warranty Claims
Most horticultural machinery brands offer manufacturer warranties that cover mechanical or electrical defects. Warranty coverage does not include:
• Accidental damage
• Wear-and-tear
• Poor maintenance (e.g., running without oil, incorrect fuel mix)
• Commercial or heavy-duty use unless specified
We can assist with arranging warranty repairs with the manufacturer or authorised service agents.
